Draft Finished!§

I finished the first draft of my new novel, Not a Step. It was several years ago that I first had the idea for this novel. I’ve worked on it on and off for so long. I still have to do plenty of revisions and then I need to get it edited. But I’m very relieved that I’ve made it to this milestone.

This novel is very different and much better than anything I’ve written before. It’s a complex story with two intertwined plots. It’s full of intrigue and emotions. It has some detective moments, some sex scenes, and plenty of conflicts — something my other stories lacked greatly.

There’s plenty of fine tuning to be done. I need to adjust the time lines. I want to improve some of the wording and imagery. And I want to make sure the themes are covered, to make sure I said what I want to say.
